HVACConsultant.ca is a simple idea: an HVAC owner and Ali Sedighi, working one-on-one on a real business decision. There's no team of account managers, no sales funnel and no equipment to sell. It's part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, a Canadian group headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, and led by Ali Sedighi, MBA.
Ali Sedighi, in brief
Ali holds an MBA in Technology Management and has 17+ years of experience in marketing, technology and business growth. His career started in 2007, when he founded ONE.ir, a full-service digital marketing agency. He now lives and works in Vancouver, BC.
Since then he has founded Conv.ca, an agency focused on conversion-rate optimisation, and MyAutomation.ca. He is Founder and Managing Partner of SAZ.ca, the Strategy & Acceleration Zone, a Canadian consulting firm working on strategy, AI and revenue acceleration. His clients have included businesses in Canada, the USA and Dubai.
On the heating and cooling side, the count of live HVAC websites Ali has built now stands at 150+. Among them are CombiBoiler.ca, GasBoilers.ca, RomaHeating.ca, HeatLand.ca and BCWide.ca. That portfolio is why owners find his sessions practical: he has watched, in detail, which HVAC businesses turn marketing into profit and which simply get busier.
How the group fits together
Sedighi.ca is Ali's consulting company for growth, marketing and technology. Its brands include HVAC.Agency, which carries out marketing for HVAC companies, as well as HVAC.Digital, Trades.Agency, BusinessConsulting.ca and Conv.ca. SAZ.ca works alongside it on strategy and revenue acceleration.
HVACConsultant.ca is the advisory end of that group for HVAC owners. A session here is about decisions. If, after a session, you want someone to execute a marketing plan, HVAC.Agency can do that, and its plans are on our pricing page. You're under no obligation to use it.
How Ali runs a session
Ali's approach has four habits, and owners can expect all of them:
- Numbers first. He asks for real figures before the session, even rough ones, because advice without your numbers is just opinion. The owner numbers sheet lists what he'll ask for.
- One decision at a time. A session that tries to fix everything usually fixes nothing. He'll help you pick the decision the others depend on.
- Plain answers. If your prices are too low or your marketing spend isn't working, he'll say so, kindly and directly.
- Everything in writing. You get the scope and price in writing before the session, and a written summary of decisions and next steps afterwards.
Sessions are confidential. Ali doesn't share one owner's numbers with another, and he won't name your company anywhere without your permission.
What this practice is, and what it isn't
HVACConsultant.ca offers business and marketing consulting, not engineering, mechanical design, inspection or code-compliance services. Ali is not a contractor, doesn't install, repair or service heating and cooling equipment, and won't advise on technical or safety questions. Those belong with licensed trades and your provincial safety authority, which our region pages link to.
It also isn't legal, tax, accounting or securities advice. When a session touches those areas, such as an employment contract, a share sale or a tax question, Ali will tell you which professional to bring in.
Where Ali's view comes from
Ali has spent his career on the commercial side of businesses: what they charge, how customers find them, and how the owner's time gets spent. Building websites for heating and cooling companies meant seeing, month after month, which calls turned into booked jobs and which owners could handle the extra work. That's the lens he brings to a session.
Why one-on-one
Group coaching programs and peer groups have their place. But the owners who get the most from Ali tend to have questions that are too specific, or too private, to discuss in a room of competitors: their margins, their best tech's salary, their plans to sell. A one-on-one session lets you put the real numbers on the table.
To see the kinds of decisions sessions cover, start with the session topics. For the practical questions about cost, contracts and format, read the FAQ. Then call, text or email Ali at (604) 632-4959 or Ali@Sedighi.ca.
